Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Breeder Connection Visibility Hub, how we use it, and who we share it with.
1. Information we collect
When you sign up and use the service, we collect: your contact details (name, email) provided at checkout and in your account; the information you submit about your kennel and breeding program through the onboarding questionnaire and editor; and any photos you upload. We don’t collect or store your full payment card details — those go directly to Dodo Payments, our payment processor.
2. How we use it
We use this information to create and operate your account and website, to communicate with you about your subscription and service, to draft or polish site copy using AI on the information you provide (see below), and to maintain and improve the service.
3. AI-assisted drafting
If you choose to use the “Draft with AI” feature, the information you’ve entered for that section is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate polished copy. We instruct it to work only from what you’ve actually written — not to invent facts, health claims, or credentials. You can opt any section out and use your own exact wording instead.
4. Who we share it with
We share information with the service providers that help us run the platform, and only as needed for their part of the service: Dodo Payments (billing and payment processing, acting as merchant of record), Supabase (database, authentication, and photo storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI-assisted content drafting), and Resend (sending account and transactional emails). We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use only what’s needed to run the service (such as a login session cookie) and standard hosting-provider server logs. We don’t use advertising trackers or sell data to advertisers.
6. Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and support purposes. You can request deletion of your data at any time, subject to what we’re legally required to retain.
7. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing amy@thebreederconnection.com.
8. Children’s privacy
This service is a business tool for dog breeders and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. See also our Terms of Service.
